yeah, I mean I feel bad going here and raining on some dudes parade, but really for a person who graduated with an EE degree for any decent college this would be a pretty simple thing to make, order up some parts on DigiKey stick them together in a breadboard (dude didn't even have a custom PCB). The only difficult them is doing the modeling for the ball in code, but if the dude is smart he just used a compiler to translate C code into assembly for the microcontroller. I'm not gonna say its not cool, but its a weekends worth of work to design and another weekends worth of work to assemble, bot exactly a year long project.

here is a circuit for me senior project, looks sorta complicated at first, but I did the whole schematic one night and then did this layout the next day.
