I am a junior at college and i'm working towards a computer engineering degree. i hate the programming, but i only have one more programming class...then the rest is just hard physics and computer stuff. i worked for Dell Tech Support for about a month during my sophomore year. that sucked and it was a 40 minute drive to work, so i quit. right now i'm being considered for an internship at a place called Lucent Technologies. From what i hear, they used to be the 4th largest chip manufacturer in the industry (behind Intel, AMD, and Cyrix of course). Now they are into networking. the job also pays $30 an hour, so hopefully i'll get the job, but i'm not getting my hopes up b/c i'm up against some pretty stiff competition...wish me luck
