So what drivers are you missing to make Vista Fully operational

A halfway decent Vista 64 driver for my Soundblaster X-fi card would be awesome. Their current drivers are shite, I get tons of static whenever any sounds play. I had to revert back to using my onboard sound for now.

I have the same card. For normal listening I have my speaker volume at maybe 25% and system volume at 50% in WinXP. When I tried Vista it was 75% on the speakers and 100% on the system and it was less loud than the other setting in XP. The drivers are terrible. I'm back on WinXP by the way.

Waiting for M-Audio to release a driver for the Revolution cards. My onboard sound is from the pre-HD audio days, and it sounds so terrible...if someone comes out with a good card with final Vista drivers, I'm all over it.

VIA has to release the Envy24 drivers first. I'm basically waiting for the same thing.

My DVD Xpress DX2 has no Vista drivers yet. Tech Support says within the next few weeks they will have drivers for it.
My Audigy 2 is using beta drivers and doesn't sound right.
My LexMark printer has no drivers yet, the website says "coming soon"
Other than that everything else seems to run fine.
Oh ..... my Canoscan Lide 60 has Vista drivers.

Good luck, but don?t hold your breath? I am still waiting on XP drivers for the last Visioneer scanner I bought. I learned the hard way when XP was released which manufacture support their products and do so quickly. For instance I learned to stay away from Visioneer and HP products.

Canon had issued drivers for my two Canon printers (2 and 3 years old) and my four year old Canon scanner before the Vista launch.

Visioneer put up a note that drivers are expected in May. They are not listing which scanners will have Vista drivers available. They've got this BS up about how changes in Vista will not allow some of their older models to work with it. I wish they'd just be honest and tell us they're not going to devote the resources to develop drivers for older models and then tell what models.

I've had a long relationship with Visioneer, but I guess it's time to move on. It's like they waited for Vista to be released and then decided to get at it.

Creative Soundblaster Audigy x64 drivers.

I have the Beta drivers, and they also suck for me. My sound works, so that is good... but it sounds like I have the "Bathroom" effects turned on and I can't get music to sound normal even with mixing.
