So what is so great about the Colbert Report?

I think that's Tuesday's episode. I thought it was pretty funny, esp. the part with Tommy Chang.

You have to really enjoy political satire to dig the show. His schtick is a play on Bill O'Reilly to some degree.
Also helps to have some history with the show and Colbert as a comic on the Daily Show.

Watching him chew up congressmen from various districts is fantastic. At the same time it's disheartening because we have these blithering idiots running the government.

Dude, you gotta watch a few more shows... he can be hillarious sometimes... there was one episode where he got a congressman to admit that he liked using cocaine and having the company of prostitutes... can't find the video but that was the most hillarious and ballsy thing i've ever seen (the congressman's name is robert wexler, but i can't find the video, youtube took it down multiple times).

They took my copy of the video down too. Except it was one where that douche Geraldo "examined" the Colbert video.

Yeah that's the Fox News analysis version, i've seen that one... but it doesn't show the original which is 100 times funnier... it's really funny how he's all hesitant at first then he's really into it at Colbert's coaxing

I myself was lost. Couldn't fathom why they'd throw in weed jokes with him as a guest. Is he some sort of famous character associated with marijuana?
