So what memory speeds are you guys running on an overclocked Opteron 165?

216MHz or so (Opty 170 @ 2.2 here, 5/6 or 166MHz memory divider)

Ram speed really doesnt matter. Just look at ram reviews closely. Here is what is called one of the best by many. See how small the increases are. The highest performace number is do to an increase in CPU speed and not memory.

Run the test yourself! Download a number crunching application like Super Pi and run the 1M digits test. Set the CPU core speed to the factory number and compare the Super Pi time between 100MHz, 166MHz, and 200MHz RAM speed. Going from 200MHz to 166MHz will cost you at least 80MHz core speed with the AMD platform. However, most users will DEFINITELY benefit by dropping to 5:6 memory divider and running the RAM at 220MHz.

Well your definately going to want to run it at 200mhz or at least close to 200mhz The returns after that just arent that much.
