That's an awesome score for your setup, are you overclocking the 9800p and/or have the 256mb model? BTW, what's up with the who names their rig stuff? Many of us do, including IBM whom I've named one of mine after i.e. Deep Blue.... Hey, it's the color of my board! and pyonir, get back to ATOT before you melt or somethin' :laugh:Originally posted by: Wingznut

Sorry for braking in sounding as a nerd but... are you all running 3dmark03 at a standard resolution or quality? I have an Athlon XP 2000, 512 RAM@333, and a MSI FX5900SP VTD-128 and run the benchmark at 2 different resolutions and got 2 different scores!!
1024x768, No AA, Bilinear : 4226
640x480, No AA, Bilinear : 5506
How about try to run it at default setting?
I got 4152 at standard, while on the internet downloading...
BTW: If I overclock my card... Is it going to burn and die if I'm not careful? Or it will just show artifacts when it is above limits? How dangerous is it? ***I want bigger scores...***
Never done any vga overclocking before, so how dangerous is it? Is it like CPU that only gets hotter or just doesn't boot? Or does it include high risk of burning?
