I'll be the first to admit I have a huge-ass monitor. A 22" NEC FE1250; it's bigger than my TV. I was kicking around at 1600x1200 for a while, as that was the max my GeForce 3 was up to doing for some reason, but after going to a 9600 the slider suddenly had a lot more resolutions to choose from. Unfortunately half of them wouldn't display properly unless I put the refresh rate at 60Hz, which just plain hurts my eyes. So today I idly cruised by the NEC website and found that they had kept all the drivers for their monitors available for download. So now that I've installed the new, updated drivers every display mode I choose comes out fine.
Anyway, to cut to the point I can now set my display to 1920x1200 (Widescreen, yes) before I dip below 70Hz. My absolute max resolution is 1920x1440. (60Hz) Right now I'm at 1792x1344, 75Hz. I'd do 1856x1392 (72Hz) but unfortunately the left side starts to flicker slightly when I do.
So how about the rest of you? Any huge-ass deathy monitors amongst you? LCD or CRT, whatever, though if anybody has an LCD that can do resolutions like mine... man, that's a sweet LCD.
P.S. Yes, I'm bragging, but I just found out I have something to brag about. Cut me some slack, eh?
