Moore is in a different category from the likes of Rush and O' Reilly. Rush and O' Reilly simply like to hear themselves speak...I have yet to see them deliberately mislead the general public in a fashion similar to what Moore has done with F-911. Add to this that Rush and O' Reilly offer opinion based commentary, while Moore attempts to pass his work off as FACT.
One instance is his interviews of various folks in Washington, trying to catch them offguard and make them say something the general public should not hear. He asks 2 congressman if they would send their children to Iraq to fight the war, and in response both gentleman simply blew him off, waiving him away and not even addressing him.
Now, why would more include this in his "Documentary" you might ask? To give the impression that these guys would NOT send their children to Iraq, Hell....they can't even be bothered to respond.
Funny this is, NEITHER OF THEM EVEN HAVE ANY CHILDREN....but did Moore include this in the piece...no he didnt. I have to ask, why then would he include the footage of being waived off, it not to mislead the public into thinking these 2 men thought themselved above sending Their kids to fight a war.
While Rush and O'Reilly can be ridiculous, Moore is in a league all his own.
i disaagree... moore got so much attention because he is really the first of the kind... a rush of the democrats...
they are all douche bags that are ruining the country and politics as we know it...
ohh and dont forget coulter... shes just as bad...
When have Rush, O'Reilly or Coulter done something in the fashion of the example I gave of F-911 like Moore did, he is an expert at piecing things together and misleading people in a fashion that he knows will be interpretted exactly how he wants them to be.
fine... i now im going to search the internet for ridiculous douche quotes just to prove you wrong... brb
Heres the pill popper bustin on pill poppers
Rush Limbaugh Show, 9-23-93
LIMBAUGH: (Voiceover) He says that, I know every expert in the world will disagree with me, but I don't buy into the disease part of drug abuse. The first time you reach for a substance you are making a choice. Every time you go back, you're making a personal choice. I feel very strongly about that.'
What he's saying is that if there's a line of cocaine here, I have to make the choice to go down and sniff it. And I don't know how--how to do it, but if I was going to do it, I'd do it. If there were a gun here, it wouldn't fire itself. I've got to reach for it and--and pull the trigger. And his point is that we are rationalizing all this irresponsibility and all the choices people are making and we're blaming not them, but society for it. All these Hollywood celebrities say the reason they're weird and bizarre is because they were abused by their parents. So we're going to pay for that kind of rehab, too, and we shouldn't. It's not our responsibility.
and here is lady psychopath
Anne Coulter
"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war."
and then this ridiculousness...
COULTER: I take the biblical idea. God gave us the earth.
PETER FENN (Democratic strategist): Oh, OK.
COULTER: We have dominion over the plants, the animals, the trees.
FENN: This is a great idea.
COULTER: God says, "Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It's yours."
FENN: Terrific. We're Americans, so we should consume as much of the earth's resources...
COULTER: Yes! Yes.
FENN: ... as fast as we possibly can.
COULTER: As opposed to living like the Indians.
