Just picked up the Focus from my local AT&T store...they had plenty in the back they said. Got it off contract ($499), and was in and out.

Still setting it up and getting used to it, but I love it so far. It's REALLY fast, and the menu design is gorgeous. Not much else to say yet, other than that browsing is pretty much iPhone-like. Really impressed so far.

The phone intrigues the hell out of me. I think it will definitely have a good target market. It seems like the perfect phone for a first time smart phone user.

I picked one up as well, but I had to do it on lunch, and we are not allowed to use cell phones during work, so I know NOTHING about it, other than it is currently sitting on my desk....taunting me to do something with it...:'(

Win7 phone is the first OS to make me really consider a smartphone but I'm kind of underwhelmed by the hardware supporting it so far; I think I'll wait for the next round or two of releases short of a great deal for black friday or christmas.

Definitely seems like the right software for me though.

I'm waiting until I can try the Dell Venue Pro in person. Unfortunately I have to wait until the 18th, as a Microsoft Store in Washington (Bellevue) isn't opening until then.

The VP looks awesome, but I'm going to wait till they put a "4G" radio in it.

Got the Focus this morning. Set up shop to work on my WP7 app while I waited for the store to open...

WP7 is at the top of my list whenever it's available on Sprint....especially if no other WebOS hardware is released by then.

Has anyone set one up with an exchange email account? I am interested in hearing how the real world exchange performance is. We have a mix of BB, iPhone, and Android phones at work, and I am sure people will be asking about WP7.

Completely forgot about it.
Was gonna go visit my local T-mobile store to see the HD7. Oh well, I can go tomorrow.
And I wasnt planning to get it today anyhow, so what do I care?
Still planning to wait a while.

I hope it does well! I'm about ready to move on to something new.
How's the XBox app? Is it like xbox.com in mobile form(not all shrunk down from the full size)?

I hooked up Exchange, it seems to be working fine. Definitely a step up from Exchange on my Android phone.

I'd love to get one, but until MS improves hardware support (I.e. support something other than the original Snapdragon), I'm going to have to pass.

I set my up with the exchange account from work. It was very easy and have not noticed any issues yet.

I really like this phone a lot. The OS is silky smooth.

I got the samsung focus

Have you noticed any GPS problems with it? Also, what are your thoughts on the weight and plasticky-ness of it? When I handled it in the store today, it felt... cheap? I don't know, that is just my thoughts, but the Surround felt much better in the hand. I still say that Microsoft should have released a phone that was like the Zune HD, because that thing feels solid in the hand.

no GPS issues here. I had the Epic 4G briefly so I am definitely familiar with that issue. The phone is very light...which I actually like, compared to a phone like the hd2 that's heavier than it looks. Honestly, while I would prefer a more meetalic build, it still feels pretty good in your hand. I like it.

I didn't notice anything with the GPS - but I only tried it once and it locked on fast, and so did the remote lock for locating the phone.

As for build quality - I like it. It feels solid, with an exterior feel much like the iPhone 3G / 3GS. Compared to the Surround, it's noticeably lighter - and the screen is MUCH more responsive.
