I am mad. I reserved the collectors edition from EB games but the shipment didin't include any. I would have been willing to take a standard edition instead but they sold out before I got there

Got the *last* copy of the CE for PC at Gamestop. Haven't installed it yet. If I don't get sucked in, I'll report back on what settings are playable for me on X1900XT.

Definitely let us know. I too am interested in whether an an OCed Opteron and 7900GT is capable of handling 1600x1200 HDR with max in game settings.

Just played the game for a little bit. It's all in the dungeon area. So far my X1900XT handles it very well, though the cooling fan can definately be heard. Playing at 1680x1050 with everything max (except shadow i think) and HDR is very smooth. Too bad it can't do HDR+AA at the same time coz i can see aliasing on the NPCs. Graphic is very nice, but i'll have to see the outdoor area with more NPCs yet.

Yeah I am playing the dungeon area as well. Nodamage, I am running at 1440x900 which is the max res. my 19' widescreen monitor displays at. It looks great though, I can actually play without worrying about the jaggies too much as there isnt that many as this res. Its weird, it just feels like you dont pay attention to them as much playing this game. I have ALL settings maxed out with 8x AF and HDR (hence no AA). If you play with bloom instead of HDR you can run AA so it may be a trade off for some people. I will determine whether HDR is worth it once I get outside into the world. I am in the dungeon right now. For performance you should have no problems in the dungeons and as for the outside world I will comment on that later. I am running around 50-60ish FPS in the beginning dungeon with everything maxed out at the res I stated earlier with 8AF and HDR with NPCs on screen and fighting. It goes up into the 300s in inventory screens lol. ALl sliders are to the max including all shadow options are maxed out as well (may have to scale shadow filtering etc back a bit to up the framerateas I hit the outside world with alot of npcs) and other options as well. Outside will probably be a different story, we will see. As long as its above 30 outside its fine for me. Its not a shooter where I need 100+ fps at any given time. RPGs are different as they are slower paced. The fighting is really cool so far. I picked a imperial male human character who will specialize in heavy armor/melee with a touch of magic. I started out with 4 spells, two seem like they are specific to this class/race and there is a fireball spell and a minor healing spell as well. I took some screen shots for you guys but they are too big filesize for imageshack. I even resized them and still were 1.5mb big (down from over 3mb). I am going back to play now! I will lower screen shot quality through fraps so I can see if I can get some for ya guys without the game yet. The fun is just geting started though!

Same here. After blowing 1/2 hour in the character appearance menu I farted around in the dungeon for a bit... 16x12 with 4x AA, eye candy up high (I guess, I just let it auto detect and it chose High Quality). There was a battle sequence in the distance that slowed things down quite a bit, other than that, it was very smooth in that section... but yeah, gotta get out to the world and see what happens. And I forgot to turn AF on fixing that.

Crap, I think the card was only running @ 500/600 too - I have the ATi services turned off for Ati Tool. I'm all messed up here!

Got it too... framerate was OK until I got out of the sewers, then total caca. My system's in the sig, and I was playing at 1280x1024, "ultra high" according to its detection, no AA or AF, and HDR. Guess I am going to have to try OC'ing my CPU since I've been accused of being CPU limited by a buddy ;^)

Well, I am pretty displeased with the grapics personally. Textures on most things are terribly low res

Are you playing the same game I am?
I do not know what you are talking about, most look great to me. Very far trees/mountains and stuff are low res but thats normal for a game where you can see miles in the distance. Are your textures set to large?

Whenever I get in a fight in the forest, my video card just wants to die. But the peice of ****** gets over it and I just keep playing.

I was pretty dissapointed with how the water looks. I thought it looked better in Morrowind.

The gamestop in my area wasnt sold out or anything. I preordered the regular PC edition, when I got there they just transfered that one over to a collectors edition. They werent even preordered out of CE, which they said they were. Or maybe I just took someone elses copy.
