Talk about @ssholes on the road. Yesterday when the snow started getting pretty heavy, one guy seemed in a rush. He was tailgating me and then rushed past me, only to be stuck behind the car in front of me.
So he pulled up to within about 6 feet of that car, and would periodically fishtail but would maintain that speed and distance from that car.
It looked like a rear wheel drive car, but I swear it looked like he was fishtailing on purpose, just to get the car in front of him to move. And even if he wasn't, who the hell fishtails but intentionally maintains a very close tailgate at the same time? It was like that for something like half a km before he finally turned onto a side street.
I had never seen anyone do that before.
I want that so bad for my driveway. There is a high value housing development that was recently installed a couple of towns over from me, and apparently many of those houses have this. Never have to use a snowblower again :awe:
I looked into it superficially. It's 5-digit $ dollars to install, and for a small driveway it's probably about $20 electricity per use for a small snowfall. People say that average cost for use per winter in the northern US is in the low 4-digit $ range every year.
It makes more sense to pay a snow removal company. However, I just use a crappy electric snowblower and a shovel.
