The liberal agenda was rejected and the obama legacy was repudiated. Intellectually honest Americans know without a doubt the liberal agenda is a recipe for failure and disaster and the obama exemplifies this fact.

there was no mandate in this election. Nothing repudiated. You'd need a serious win to start talking with those big words.

Hillary, a highly flawed candidate, only lost cause emails. That's it. Without those we wouldn't be talking about president-elect Trump.

A president is elected, against the odds, with a majority in both houses of congress equals mandate. Not much your side can do about it.

If you want to hypothetically take away her email issue we may as well take away some negative of Trump's and see where we'd be. How about the hot mic?

Your candidate is wonderful, why take anything away from him? This was a REPUDIATION after all. Only a wonderful candidate would have been able to Repudiate and Reject, while losing the popular vote and winning a few crucial swing states by small margins.

Fact of the matter is it was a close race any way you look at it. Without the emails constantly getting in the way of the message, the wonderful candidate would have lost. I don't even think it's a question.

Don't let facts get in the way now. This is a thread about how Hillary lost. The answer is Emails. I'm staying on topic.

Trump didn't "lose" the popular vote since neither candidate was actively trying to "win" it. So you're wrong there. We elect presidents by winning electors from states, he could lose Pennsylvania AND Michigan and still have 270. On top of that the senate and house went to the GOP. Mandate. It is coming so you might as well get used to it and get ready for 2018.

Without the hot mic Trump would have won in a landslide. See how easy it is to speculate? She lost because Trump beat her.

Trump did win. That's what this thread is about. How did Hillary lose it to Trump.

I know it may take you awhile to figure it out since we are only 21 pages deep on this thread, but try harder.

Emails. Simple answer. Other fellow alt-rightists like yourself have theorized this was due to her liberal message, for example. A total and utter repudiation of a progressive agenda. I say otherwise. EMAILS!

See, this is how debate plays out.

And in an election we have a couple of metrics available to us to analyze the post-election results. States and popular vote. That's it. So we use them. You don't want to use them because while one was very close the other was more significant. Popular vote. Could trump have overcome a difference of over 2 million votes with a different campaign style fighting against another similar campaign style? We won't find out until maybe 2020. In the meantime they are the only relevant metrics we have for now. So they are available to discuss, as much as you wish to campaign otherwise.

Seems like an awful waste of time if the answer was that simple, wouldn't you think? I wonder if your zeal for thread topic integrity extends to everybody else in the thread.

Also, there will be an Electoral College system still in place in 2020 so we won't know the answer to that question.

Worst label ever for people who are neither of those words; rather exemplified in the very post by someone who pretends the opinion of a few rust belt rednecks repudiates anything worthwhile.

I find it quite sad that pseudo conservatives (faux Christians) keep calling people who exhibit critical thinking skills liberal when they themselves have some of the most liberal views around. When you can stand up in the name of God (really in the name of big religion) and back someone who clearly doesn't exhibit those special fruits that Jesus said you'd know us by then you'll pretty much back anything. The great falling away has been in progress for many years now and the participants are all in full blinder mode to their own conditions which is why I reject religion in every way. Jesus is God and religion is junk!
