I would have liked to see Samsung focus on a better more power efficient phone instead of the constant increase in power consumption. I dont know about you all, but Id like to get through a day of normal usage without my phone going into low battery power saving mode and me starting to have too look for an outlet to charge.

S3 battery life is plenty for me. I did over 2 hours screen on today, with ~60 minutes of streaming HD Youtube and MLB.tv, around 30 minutes in Google Nav, a little bit of Angry Birds and web browsing, speed tests, streamed Pandora for ~1.5 hours, all on LTE during the workday. Also was disconnected from charger for over 13 hours. My battery is now at 40%. Seems pretty legit to me, my thunderbolt would have been dead by that time even with custom rom/kernel.

If you spend 3+ hours a day with your phone screen on, maybe consider getting a tablet?

Also to the size haters about fitting in pockets--seriously? I hate putting anything in my pockets, but the S3 is so slim, even with a case, it slides in and out of my front or back regular jean pockets with ease, and I can barely notice it. Maybe lay off on the skinny jeans?

Well, a 2100ma battery is going to give more time. Talk time and video playback was 10 + hours. Very good. But if you browse the web, this time is cut down significantly and not lasting a full regular 8 hour workday. The GSIII only lasted 5.25 hours when web browsing. Which means you'll need to plug it in before the day is done. Unacceptable IMHO. And when you talk about the size being NO problem for you? I can't help but think you aren't serious. If you had read above, I don't wear skinny jeans. I usually wear carpenter jeans that are somewhat baggy.
Don't call us "size haters" as this is incredibly short sighted. the GSII is a big phone. It's also an expensive phone. You're going to get a really good case to protect it if you're smart along with a protection plan. Even more coin.
I don't care what you think you're telling me, but a GSIII with a good case isn't easy to handle in and out of pockets if my GSII isn't. Un-possible.

Nice talking with you. I'll lay off the skinny jeans if you lay off the sarcastic rhetoric. Deal? ^_^

Having had the sgs1, sgs, droid razr and many in between I can honestly say that the size of my sgs3 has not affected me in the least. I am on tmobile so the sgs2 was much thicker than the other carriers. IMO, at least for me, the sgs3 just feels better in my pants pocket. its thinner than the sgs2 and while longer it still feels nice in my pocket. The case I got for it was Aduro hard-shell case. Its minimalistic at best. And ironically it is barely larger than my job appointed droid razr which I hate. Holding the razr in my hand just sucks. Its too wide for a 4.3" screen. The sgs3 feels perfect in my palm. Anything larger may be too much so for me 4.8" on the sgs3 build is perfect.

Only lasts 5.25hrs web browsing? I sure wouldn't want to be doing anything on my phone for 5+ hours per day, unless it was hooked up to a tv. I have a 10" tablet for days I know will be slow.

And I have a slim hard case for $5 off ebay, and no protection plan. I have yet to fuckup a phone in my life. Goes in and out of my pockets with ease.
