<< Dear Elledan,

I think I see your problem. You have been feeding your big, bloated brain too much highfalutin' rich food, and your poor little neurons have gotten gas, resulting in a colossal brain-fart.

What your tender young cerebrum needs every now and then is some nice simple down-home thinkin', none of that fancy-schmancy intellectual college stuff, but the kind of thinkin' that plain ordinary folks do.
>>

I am no longer capable of such thoughts.

<< I suggest that you scrap all this stream-of-consciousness mumbo-jumbo gumbo for a while.

Here, try this. Your synapses will thank you.
>>

LOL

<< Love,
Mombat

P.S.
Don't pay no mind to your Uncle Moonbeam, he has been a little odd ever since he ate those toadstools.
>>

ROFL!!

So that explains his rather peculiar behaviour

"Aparently I read much slower than most people. I've noticed, for example, that some people will start to laugh at a cartoon while I'm still scanning it to determine where to start reading and who is saying what."

Oh really? *Giggling!* That sounds familiar. . . . *Bursts into laughter!* '

"It's also worthy to know that I read a bit faster than the average person, so I can read the whole text within a couple of minutes "

Wow! Really? Of what relevance is your statement in question, my Lord? Oh I see. Well, here's the deal: If you will teach and disclose to me your secret on reading faster than the average person, I shalt set aside time for your entire journal/thought. For even better is the fact that I will not need make much room or time for your thoughts 'cuz I would have accomplished it in about 3/4 your speed, my Lord. Thus, I will for now suspend reading your material until we have a deal.

Do we have a deal, Elledan?

Impossible. I am only capable of reading faster than the average person because it's a common skill of gifted individuals. Can I teach you how to become gifted? Don't think so

Elledan, if you want to get on luvly's good side, you have to be macho; and if you can't think of a way to make her gifted, you're not going to cut it.

Oh my! I just uncovered another mystery, thanks to Elledan the Dutch!

Well, I give up! I can never be smart! I'll never get to read Elledan's great thoughts; nor will I ever comprehend it.

I think a macho guy is truly the right one for me, as already hinted by Moonbeam. No brains needed 'cuz I got none, anyway. *Crying!*

I'm off to bed now with great sadness. Please pray I have no nightmares . . . not any of a guy nicked Elledan and his horrour stories or thoughts, one I could not ever comprehend.

Methinks English just sucks for not having a proper translation for 'hoogbegaafd'. What would be an accurate word for possessing exceptional mental skills? 'Gifted' is not good enough.

I don't know about hoogbegaafd, but I was tempted there for a minute to call you DessertCart.

Try figuring out how one molecules knows that another molecule distant from it is being touched by a third molecule.

EG, if I punch a rock, does someone somewhere feel my punch?

If "I think, therefore I am" is true, would it then also be true that "I thought not, therefore I am not?" If you make a mistake, is it not a lapse in thought? And if you are not, how could you think in the past tense that you aren't anymore?

Is saying "There is one error in this sentence." correct? There are no errors except that it says there is one error, but if that is an error then there IS one error and there are no errors.

Elledan, it seems that you're on the defensive here It's very frustrating when you're misunderstood, so if I'm not addressing what your really trying to discuss, feel free to let me know...

Language limits the speed of communication. I think we both agree on that. Language has been developed in order to translate both abstract and concrete concepts for the purpose of communication. If I'm not mistaken, the English language has about 750,000 words and idioms. These words are impossible to completely comprehend without a physical demonstration. You can't really understand what an "automobile" is unless you've seen one. But if you have a 3-D model of a word or concept, everything can be understood and communicated.

ok, i have to cut this short cuz my gf is talking to me about makeup again I'll continue later. What do you think so far?
