We broke 40T again as well! It is also of my opinion that the DPC team has something up their sleeves. I doubt that they've just abandoned the project. It appears that NicColt is constipated as well.

I was just on the DPC-forum and found this thread.

You can't read it, because it is in dutch, but there are some things they say like:

ik hou het bij het "sparren"
Natuurlijk kan me op 1 januari duchtig het tegendeel bewezen worden

Mr_Fré verlangt naar januari

and

Dat is omdat er maar 1 pc aan het flushen is, de rest zit in men sparre-modus.

that gives me the feeling they are saving up for some big dump somewhere in the beginning of the new year.

sparren = normally a tree, but "sparren" in this case means IMO sparen = saving

Then the subtile references to january and Mr_Fré that looks out for january.

The last quote says:
"That is because there is only 1 pc flushing, the rest is in "sparre-modus"[/quote]
sparre-modus = saving mode IMO

FreeDC is putting up a fight and making this fun. Between our teams (the TeAm and FreeDC) we had 5 of the top 10 users yesterday. That is a crazy amount of crunching power, if you ask me. Great job to both teams....

On a plus note I finally got my 4200+ X2 chip going right. Upgraded from a 3500+ and OC'ed. Was 1 core at 2.2 ghz, now 2 cores at 2.5 ghz for at least 5M/sec (still to early to tell).

It causes the client to exit after finishing the WU. I just used it today, to flush my last blocks before reformatting my C2D rigs. Now I'm doing 4.3Mx2, instead of just 4Mx2. I need another monitor to keep my other C2D rig online at the same time though.

Just get a cheap KVM switch. I bought one at monoprice.com that came with 4 sets of wires too for like $10-15.
