Costco uses third parties to handle all the close out stuff, ie when inventory on a SKU drops to some amount, if a customer returns an item, etc it all collects up and goes to a liquidator of some kind. The one I know about is in Fullerton California, and used get everything from like 100 stores, but the situations seems to change VERY frequently.
Deal today, and should be going for at least a few more days to a week, is that all clothes with the green tag are $3.99, and other than green tag is 60% off marked. They have about 8 rows of racks, each about 60 feet long, currently packed with typical costco mens and womens clothes. This includes some nice suit jackets, but I am a big (xxl) guy, and all I found were 9 long sleeve dress shirts, Docker, Hathaway, Munsingwear, all the nice (expensive ala $65 factory tag) wrinkle free stuff, total with tax was $40. I also picked up Warcraft III and Lord of the Rings, which were $4.99 each.
YMMV, absolutely nothing is shipped, but I am pretty sure some other part of this place puts stuff on ebay.
California Outlet, on Orangethorpe between Acacia and State College, nw of the 91/57 interchange, M-F 10-7, less on weekends.
