Totally agree. Even NBC news ~2 hours before the evening prime time Olympics coverage is announcing winners, etc. If you are going to watch it you have to stay away from the news or be quick with the mute button and your eyes (or FF if you are time shifting).

Decided that I don't need to watch any more Biathlon, ski jumping, cross country.

Agree on all but Biatholon. The pursuit competitions were very entertaining, especially with that enthusiastic announcer they have. The mass start races they have coming up should be exciting also.

I hate all these timed races, super boring. Seeing people race against each other is much more exciting than seeing them race against a clock. (the sliding sports are somewhat entertaining just due to the shear insanity of sliding down a track at 80+mph)

That shoot-out battle may have been the best one I've ever watched. Excellent stick handling and excellent goal-tending to boot - the game was a real feast for the eyes when it comes to hockey.

I hate rooting against Datsyuk. Damn you Russian-born!

I cannot wait until the tournament progresses. Ugh. I am so rooting for a USA v. Russia, or a USA v. Canada final, hopefully with one or the other being a semi-final match-up. Sure to be intense match-ups for sure!
