Yeah, they said on the news tonight that the opening ceremonies were great. Only one minor glitch, being one of the 5 Olympic rings didn't work. They said it completely straight faced.

I'll watch them. I DVR'd yesterdays action and will the opening ceremonies too. Coverage starts here in 17 minutes. DVR is the only way to go, just FF through the junk. Gotta stay alert!

The projections on the floor during the Russian history lesson are pretty surreal. Almost like the people are in a live green screen overlay without the green screen.

Aside from the glitch, that was a pretty damn impressive ceremony. A stadium built and customized just for the opening and closing show. That floor projection is awesome indeed. Stupid commentators keep ragging on Russian history and Putin, wish they keep the political crap out and just talk about what we see or be quiet. I'm not going to get much done next couple weeks.

I find it funny how people are ragging on Russia skipping certain parts of history. Do you think if America does a history show we'd show slavery and the genocide of Native Americans?
