I was curious if anyone knows where one can get a new fan retention clip for the socket 939 mobo?
I have an ePox EP-9NPA Ultra, with a thermalright XP-90 heatsink. I recently upgraded to a opteron dual core with the intention of saving the life of my mobo/memory for a bit longer, but was dismayed to find the fan that came with the new processor won't attach to my motherboard. I went searching for some retention clips, but everywhere I look they are out of stock. Does anyone have any advice on how to take care of this? My CPU is running way to hot with just the heatsink on it now.
