I don't know if this solves the mystery of sudden new batch of RAM. But, I saw this morning when I made my purchase, there was one listing under DOTD and approx 370 pieces in stock. I did a search on the BUY.COM site and found another listing of 450 pieces for the same Kingston RAM, and at the same price, but it was not DOTD.
I'm guessing that they reallocated the non-DOTD pieces to the DOTD pages to move the RAM. This may be an indicator that RAM prices are dropping further and they didn't want to get caught with all that RAM? Just a hunch. Still, $110 for 256MB of RAM is excellent. Going to be nice addition to my new Dell 800mhz system -- Dell wanted $50 just for 32MB to 64MB upgrade - NOT!
EDIT: Just checked BUY.COM site for RAM. The non-DOTD RAM is now priced at $112.95! Appears to be the same RAM. They had the "list" price on the DOTD site at $89.95!?!
BUY.COM 128MB RAM
Crazy!
