Also maybe too soon--but anyone want to try a caption contest for that photo?
The two suspects in the killing were injured in a confrontation with police and have been taken to two hospitals, where they are being treated.
However, I am of course absolutely certain that the entire Muslim community in the UK is going to stand as one to firmly denounce this violence and to take real steps to ensure that such a horrible thing will never happen again.
"In my country, this happens all the time."
Then why are you doing it in other countries you punk??!!!!
Uh-huh. Because Muslims should take responsibility for what one nut-job says and does, yes?
If this had been a white nut-job who claimed that Christ is telling him to hack some heads off, would you expect the Christian community to "firmly denounce this violence and to take real steps to ensure that such a horrible thing will never happen again"?
TBH he looks just like Tyrone Biggums.

But that doesn't really happen. I'm sure you could scour the news for a schizophrenic that chopped someone up because god told him to, but it isn't because of the religion. Islam has a real problem that needs to be dealt with. "The community" getting together and denouncing homicidal actions isn't enough. I don't know what is enough, but those people need to deal with their miscreants.
But if he says Allah then we know it's because of the religion, right?

What about them? They aren't chopping people for god or other supernatural entities. They're doing it because they're drug dealers, and eliminating competition. And what about the cross-wearing cartelists in Mexico chopping people into bits and going to church on Sundays?
They're nationalists, or that's the way they started anyway. It's now more about organized crime AFAICT. "Catholic" is the uniform, not the cause. What about the Protestant and Catholics bombing people in Ireland?
Yes? If I hear some guy shouting "Praise Jesus!" or "Hare Krishna" while hacking up someone, I'll be sure to let you know

The uniform for what cause? The IRA isn't about instituting Catholicism in Ireland. It's about returning the whole country to Irish rule, and punishing past British abuses. That's the historic context anyway. They've fought the war so long they forgot the goal.Do you seriously believe Islam is not a uniform? What of the hundreds of millions of peaceful Muslims around the world?
The fact is there are nutjobs in all religions, and it is not the religions fault. Some get more press than others, and some do it in different ways (diddling schoolboys vs bombing buildings).
Silly comparison, given how Christianity is used as a claim behind virtually no terrorism when compared to the huge prevalence Islam is.Uh-huh. Because Muslims should take responsibility for what one nut-job says and does, yes?

Are you claiming proponents of a religion are not influenced by their faith? No proponents of religion would agree with you.The fact is there are nutjobs in all religions, and it is not the religions fault.
so much dumb in this thread already. imagine when we get to page 7
