I'd like an example of my referring to my service history "as a special reason to support my political views," if you have one to justify your gratuitous call-out. If anything I've used it in contexts like this to point out that service members are far from perfect. You, on the other hand, offer up an endless supply of reasons for others to disrespect your own political views. You are an unrepentant, vicious partisan troll and one of the most obnoxious members of this forum in all my years here. That is indeed a funny thing to be crowing about after 25 years in the service. I once got a commendation medal for a deployment lasting something like 70 days. If anything it's remarkable that he could manage to serve for 25 years and only get one commendation medal.

A buddy of mine servered a couple tours in Iraq with the Red Bull division. Apparently everybody gets medals redgardless of doing anything worthy of some of medals.

I can remember from my days in the military that those in charge have warned us that in the military, it is not permitted to engage in politics as a member of the Military. We were also told we can not accept religious materials at the Airports.
