I asked for specifics on how they are attacking HIM for being a Christian since it sounds to me like they are attacking him for being intolerant not because they themselves are intolerant.

As far as your article, I didn't see many issues with it:

Commanders barred from disclosing any programs that are tied to the Chaplaincy or any programs involving religion;

If there is no religious connotation then how could it possibly be an attack on a specific religion? You gotta pick one or the other but regardless this one I agree with but I wouldn't be butthurt if it was the other way.

The soldiers don't need chaplains to pray, and the non evangelical soldiers don't need to be coerced into mandatory prayer meetings (which apparently happens according to the wiki entry for military chaplain). Seems like a no brainer.

Being prior military, no matter your views on politics, it is best to keep them to yourself. You can exercise free speech to a point, but an active military member is NOT bound by the same rules as civilians. They are subject to the UCMJ. That is the contract you sign when you put your name down at the MEPS.

No matter what you feel about the pres as a military member, you don't ever talk bad about your boss. The soldier sounds like an idiot for that.

For the most part his actions, per that article, would not be illegal under the UCMJ (though the bumper stickers are something of a gray area in that they are not just political speech but overtly critical of the President), but obviously we are getting a self-selected list of his behavior chosen by him and Fox News. Moreover, notably, he has not been charged with anything, nor given an Article 15.

I can only assume that all of this laundry list of his behavior (which also includes retweeting a tweet that said "Lordy, Lordy, it’s lovely human Tuesday. The lefty loons and Obamabots are out in full force") is indicative of his generally being an obnoxious loudmouth, which is normally not the way to win friends and influence people in the workplace.
