The B is like a Charcoal color.Not sure what AMG is,maybe the beige (off white) colored case.Its not a dark black color.Here is a review and some pretty pictures of the case.It 5 small pages long with the page navigation near the bottom.1080B

Mine still says 'processing' hehe.....I got an email that said if they had problems that they'd call me hehe.....I'm making sure not to answer the phone.

Well, my CDs shipped and that's it so far. I guess this is maybe taking a bit longer than it did last time.

Gotta Love Staples ....

Tried to call in and do a PM (Dont think they liked that) and they said it was OOS so I said ok looked online and tried to add it to my cart (just to try) and it went through .. so sounds good Ill place the order just to try and Ill call and PM later. So I place the order and everything goes through it seems as there is a little less available on the old Discover Plat. I even went as far as emailing and asking about the status of the order. I get a reply back that sais "Your order is processed and will be delivered on the 2nd". Great !. So I then send an email to try and PM with EMS after I find out my order is going to be shipped. Of course .. guess who calls .. Staples saying the item is "No longer available". What are they pulling here ??

ok the CDs came this morning! w00t time to double-dip and send in my two rebates!

Still says 'processing' on my case and the other stuff I ordered.

bad news guys! Over at the other thread on this they are starting to get calls from Staples saying that the Antec case is out of stock. My phone has been ringing several times today but I've been scared to answer it . . .

Ok, I did the first pricematch and added the $15 fan and the total was $134.84. Then I did the free shipping pricematch (without extra fan) and the total came too $103. I had planned on returning one of the cases, I figured that would be easier than getting the second price match and have them credit my card. Anyway, they are now out of stock so I will not be getting my $103 case. I just called up and told a very nice woman what the deal is. She credited my card $27.81
So total price now for the case and extra fan is $134.84 - $27.81 = $107.03 Hopefully my actual credit card bill will reflect this.

Can you give specifics as to what you told her to get her to give you the better pricematch on the case you already purchased ? Looks like I'll have to do the same

Cheval, I just told her that I had bought the same thing 2 or 3 days before and I had planned on returning one. I only ordered the second case to get the better price. She asked if the price difference was Staples or a competitor and I said a competitor.
Basically you are pricematching Staples with Staples (case order 1 vs. case order 2). I think they have to give you some amount of credit back.

As I recall you purchased 3 extra pieces? I think my sales rep and her manager overlooked my extra fan.

the first time I just purchased the case for $125.31. The second time I bought the case + fan + CDs. I could care less about the fan since I want a different fan anyway

I just did the figuring and if they did the pricematch on the first case then they'd credit my card $27.68 and that--along with the extra $ above and beyond the price of the CDs--would make the deal come out about the same as we were trying to get. Heck, I prefer this way rather than having to drag the first case to Staples and return it since I know everyone at the store here and they'd want to know why I don't want me 1337 case.

oh, and how did you know they were out of stock for your order? Did someone call you or....??

Thus far, I haven't heard a thing regards my order. grrrrrr it's almost easier to just get the second case and return it since I seem to have non-stop trouble trying to get things done with Staples' CSRs.

ROFL I just looked and my case and fan shipped! *wipes sweat off forehead*

I think I just lost 5 years off my life.

Now I just have to wait and see if they took the extra $ off my credit card like they said they would. I may end up losing another 5 years. Kind like that dude in The Princess Bride. By the time I'm all done with this deal I'll be almost dead.

I got my case on Monday, and called them as well to get the cheaper price. I had it pricematched and couponed to about $126 something, and then used the now lower $115 price with free shipping at EMScomputing to pricematch it down again. Just called and told them I found it cheaper and was within the 14 day period, and they looked it up, verified it was the same thing, and credited me another $27 something on my card. All in all, final price ended up being about $99.48 or so.

Well, I got curious about this "out of stock" issue, so I called Ingram Micro directly to see what the status of this item is.

I was hoping they would tell me that these cases weren't out of stock, so I could call Staples back and ask them what they're trying to pull.

Unfortunately, the IM rep told me that their warehouses are indeed out of stock on this case, with an ETA of 8/16.


Heh, maybe EMS Computing's "One day only" free ground shipping will hold out until then.

Well, to my surprise and shock, I just got the case! It went from 'processing' to 'shipped' two hours ago and then it shows up at my door! w00t! Well, looks like I got to go to Staples and return the first case.
