Soltek 75FRN2-L and Which RAM?

If you has to choose between these, which one would you choose. Anything better would be out of your budget. My main goal is to get it running stable at 200mhz with a 400FSB processor chip.

i have the same board, great choice. reguardless of which memory you get you should run two sticks to utilize the dual channel. im useing 2 -256mb sticks of corsair.

Yeah, I've read a lot about this board. Can't wait to put it all together. Just need...RAM, Video Card, and a PSU.

I'm not going to be running dual channel right now. Rather, I plan to upgrade to 1gig sometime in the future and run dual channel then.

I would say crucial PC3200.

Haven't heard much about Infineon lately. They used to be good. I can say that if you want to run 200 Mhz FSB you better get PC3200 whatever. Not PC2700 even though some might run at 200 Mhz.

I believe that Soltek board comes in a IGP version so unless you are a gamer the onboard video may be enough for a while.

The sound is better on an Asus A7N8X deluxe board but still good on the Soltek.

On the slight downside the Soltek doesn't come with Firewire or have holes in the PCB for a bolt-on HSF.
