Soltek Qbic Mini PC for $169.95 from iocombo

Iocombo is doing something crazy again ... they're selling their Soltek Mini PC EQ2000 Mirror Finished (845 GE chipset) for $169.95 ... I saw it in googlegear a few weeks back for $269 ... but I couldn't find the link no more.

Anyway, I just placed the order and hopefully they can ship it to me with the other stuff I just bought earlier this morning ... good luck guys .. only 6 left when I bought this ...

Estoretogo.com has a very similar Shuttle XPC for about $170 shipped. I just built the AMD XP version with an All In Wonder Radeon and it works and looks great. You can get either the AMD or the Intel P4 version for about the same price. These are the low end versions that only support DDR 2700. More expensive versions have 8x AGP slots and DD4000 support. I am very pleased with the Shuttle version's heat pipe cpu cooling, very efficient and very quiet. These would make a great LAN party PC.

It does. Optional I think if you choose to plug it in or not.

I think it doesn't come with firewire ... the motherboard which has firewire is something with -F behind it .. the motherboard in the unit itself does not.

Thanks, that's what I thought. I couldn't find if it had -F in the product description aka the SL-B8A-F.
