Soltek, Shuttle and Gigabyte-Who is the best?

hi all, i'm about to purchase a new computer, and i still can't decide wich motherboard should i take...
the "competetors" are:
Gigabyte-7VRX, or
Shuttle-AK35GT2, or
SOLTEK-75DRV5.
What do you think?

I have had the SOLTEK-75DRV4 for a couple of months now and it is by far the best motherboard that I have ever owned. I haven't had any problems with it so far. So.. I would suggest the Soltek.

one more thing-until now, my only problem with the gigabye is that there is no dram and agp voltage adjusment in the bios. the lack of the voltage adjusment for the dram pretty bothers me, should it?
by the way, it can be changes on the next bios versions, or it don't depends the bios, you just can't?

IMO, I'd also recommend the Soltek SL-75DRV5.

First of all, I would like to say hello to everyone, since I have just joined the forums. Although this is my first post, I have been an avid reader for several months now.

I am not quite sure how good the Soltek or Shuttle motherboards are (I can only assume that they aren't outstanding, since the web sites I have read haven't said much about them), but I would recommend the Gigabyte 7VRXP. I recommend it for several reasons. First, it has been one of the top rated boards in every review of it I have ever read. Second, after all the research I did, it is the board I have decided to get (It just arrived today!!!). Third, two of my friends happen to be building new computers also, and it is the board that THEY decided to get too, after their own independant research.

I know that you were thinking about the 7VRX, but the XP is only $15 - $20 more, and the onboard RAID, better onboard sound (Creative CT5880 chip), onboard LAN and a couple of other things are well worth it.

I had intended to buy the GA-7VRXP but decided against it because I heard about several people having BIOS problems with it, but I'm beginning to reconsider (partly because of Rev 2.0 coming out in June). When you get your system built, I'd be interested in hearing if you had any problems with it.

The vendor-specific motherboard forums at amdmb.com are excellent resources for evaluating motherboards you are qualifying for purchase.

All posts are by actual users of installed motherboards from a specific vendor. Problems not covered by 'reviews' are revealed there, as well as solutions to those problems.

My vote goes for Gigabyte-7VRX. I would get the 7VRXP model. It's like $10-20 more expensive, but you get LAN and RAID feature. It's rated #1 mobo at tomshardware.com right now.

I'm going to order mine in few days. I can't wait.

Get the Gigabyte board, you won't be sorry.
Get the VRXP, not the VRX.

The rev 2.0 boards are usually MUCH better than the rev 1.0 boards.
I'd wait for the rev 2.0 board. (bugs will be ironed out)
An example of this is the difference between the 7ZXR rev 1.0 and the 2.0.
