Soltek SL75DRV4 "Purple Ray"

Soltek's web site shows a new board, the SL75DRV4. Differences between it and the SL75DRV2 are UATA-133 support; AGP voltage setting; DIMM voltage setting; and a cool looking purple PCB. However, it has 4 USB ports instead of the SL75DRV2's 6 - which is o.k with me.

I'm thinking of getting this board for a new system, as it has what I need, and not what I don't need. Does anyone know if it's out yet? I can't seem to find it any where.

I just received the SL-75DRV2 from another trader and am stoked to get it going. But the DRV2 does have AGP voltage setting, maybe not in bios, but board jumpers.

running at 1.5ghz (overclocked 1.4ghz) with Mushkin 1.0 gig of PC2100 DDR Ram

My SL75DRV4 Runs Excellent! I can get my cheap nanya memory running at 300mhz cas2 which isnt bad. Nice Sandra Benchmarks.

Just wanted to add myself to the list of successful SL75DRV4 owners. Got mine from Newegg last week and is running great with an XP1800 and 256mb Crucial DDR. Had some trouble getting IDE to recognized disks, but think that may have had to do with the cables and not the motherboard.

This is my first DIY so I haven't overclocked yet, but am looking forward to it.

Just got mine here in Hsinchu NOVA. It costs me around US$103.

Plan to get a new ATA-133 HD after Chinese New Year to try the ATA-133 performance.

My CPU is not multiplier locked, so I o/c it using the dip switches on the MB. My CPU is a plain 1.3G Thunderbird. Using the dip switches, I am able to o/c it to 1.467GHz @ default voltage.

Quite happy with DRV4, only 2 complaints against DRV4 are 5 PCI and booting too fast. Can't see the Red Storm very clearly.
