while there is some truth to these statements, i want to keep the distinction alive between thinking about boning your neighbors wife and actually boning her. If it is the same, then why not just bone her if you already boned her in your mind and heart? Thinking about shooting up heroin is the same as actually shooting up heroin, so why not actually shoot it since you already committed the same ontological sin. I get Jesus' drift but I also believe Jesus would not endorse making the two types of sin ontologically equal.
