Solutions to keeping a bathroom smelling nice all the time

I was wondering what can be done to keep a bathroom smelling nice all the time. The sprays suck, cause people use it after they take a dump, so the smell of that spray is always associated with the after effects of a number 2. What can I do to keep my bathroom smelling pleasant all the time? Thanks.

My suggestion would be to improve your diet and avoid foods that contain lactose and excessive amounts of fiber. Take very large doses of Immodium AD (or some equivalent), and make extensive use of public restroom facilities wherever available.

Actualy here's a link to a very good product Neutron Industries I have an account with these guys for my restoration business. I have used there EPA registered disenfectents for years. They make a bunch of different products for odor control.

Lock the bathroom door and make everyone go outside and use a tree... Or the neighbor's yard...

Wash towels and washcloths regularly.
Do not store/leave dirty laundry in there.
Glade plugins.

my best friend is about 400 lbs. yeah, he's huge. the other night he came over. he started complaining about his stomach hurting. the he dashed off the the crapper which is down the hall and to the left.

all of a sudden i hear all this rumbling like thunder. turns out he had real bad gas. it went on for what seemed like a minute. that was the loudest more violent gas outburts i had ever heard. the mere fact that i could even hear it in the living room was unreal, but the sheer volume was even more unreal.

i'm still rotfl at that.

They work fine for me, you will have to replace them as they run out. That's probably the biggest problem, most just get lazy and never replace them hehe.

I use the toilet bowl drop in's (x87 blue).. in addition to that I have one of the freshners on the toilet bowl lip that the water flows through.

In the toilet paper roll center is a glade freshner thing that works off the spin of the TP.

The floor mats in the bathroom get washed every month and then hit with carpet fresh. (unless someone pisses on them, then its same day washing)

The shower has the "shower power" cleaner that you spray after a shower.

And for those really nasty times, I have a spray can of clorox disinfecting spray.

The towels are washed after use with Surf.. which has a nice clean smell to it

I swap out each thing about once a month, cost about $10

With all this stuff in there its been noted by women folk as "super clean" .. and when i was in the Marines it was always noted that i had the cleanest around.

I personally dislike the smell of deodorizer spray more than the after #2 effect smell.

The only real solution is to make your bathroom into giant fume hood(fume hood is a chamber in chemistry class that you use whenver you do an experiment that emits considerable amount of toxic fume)

there is this japanese product that you could use. Right before you take a crap.. you drop a couple drops of this "potion" into the toilet. then u sh!t. It smells like mint and hardly smells like poop at all. It neutralizes the smell or something. It really works cause i use it. =)

Man, I feel his pain, I get that sometimes, one time was SO bad the blowback made it feel like I was sitting on a bidet. Just thought i'd share.

Anyway, do what I do. Hold it until you go to a friends house. No sense polluting your living space.
