Hey everyone I purchased a barebone kit from tigerdirect (hot deal was posted here http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2109125 ) and months later came to realise that the motherboard supports RAM of 1.5 volts yet the kit included RAM that runs at 1.65 volts.
EDIT: I just googled this and found my own thread here plus this one, solved on a different board:

Great news I still haven't tried it but I will and let everyone know how it goes. I will say that I discovered that the Nvidia Video Card driver that Windows 7 was offering to me as a "Optional Update" was actually crashing my machine. I went to NVIDIA's website and selected my particular onboard card from the list, installed the software, and I now have a decent uptime. I might reformat just in case nvidia's old drivers left some files on the hard drive.
P.S. My RAM timings are correctly set.
Hopefully this helps someone.
Take care,
J5

What that means is that the MB will support the indicated speeds and amount starting from 1.5v and up.
