SOLVED**** THANKS!****Outlook 2003 annoyance

Hi
apparently I must have once typed a letter or something to this guy , let's call him William Dude. Now, every time I type 'will' Outlook gives me the option of entering this guy's name by pressing Enter to insert it. Is there some way to get rid of that? will is a common word and I don't want to see that little popup everytime.

when the guy's name comes up, press the down arrow to scroll down and select his name

hit DELETE

That person is in my address book. I don't want to remove him but I don't want his name popping up everytime I type:

In OUTLOOK go to:

TOOLS \ PREFERENCES and click on the E-mail Options tab
then click on the Advanced E-mail Options

Under the 'When sending a message' heading, untick "Suggest names while completing To, Cc and Bcc fields'

Click 'OK'

WTF? it's auto-suggestion words for the BODY of the message?

I've only seen this in Pocket PCs (windows mobile) or perhaps tablet PCs... but never heard of it on a desktop...

Maybe it's an auto-correct option in Word... just a wild stab- try Tools/Options/Spelling tab.

You probably have auto-fill on or something. The only thing I can think of is try searching through the options of Word instead.

It was in Word. Here:

Go to Insert> Autotext> Autotext and there's the list of things it will insert if you press ENTER while typing something... I just highlighted and deleted that one.

I hardly use word anymore (since I left school years ago), so never delved into (or forgot) all the settings.
