I think you do sort of have to take a side on this one. if your not with them, you are against them. In WW2, you were against the Nazis or your inaction was supportive of them. You may disagree with the way the extreme left is attacking the ideals of fascism, but the principles they are protesting and fighting against are despicable. Counterspeech is free speech. The only reason the right cries that counterspeech is 'silencing' their speech is because it's a disingenuous way for them to attempt to silence the left's counterspeech. I agree with you 100%I think people get antifa and the black bloc anarchists mixed up. I imagine there is a degree of overlap in their membership and they use similar tactics.
