My fiance and I are expecting our first baby in December. We get to find out the sex in about 3 weeks and I'm very excited! I just thought I would post some baby names I've thought of so far. Let me know what you guys think, don't worry about being honest, if you don't like them, you don't like them, no big deal! I'll include my last name as well so you can get an idea of whether the names are phonetic or just sound bad.

Girl:
- Claire Isabelle Eastling (Isabelle is my great grandmas name)
- Caroline Denae Eastling (Caroline is my grandmas name, Denae is my sister's middle name)
- Colleen ???? Eastling (Colleen is my fiance's middle name)

I'm not just picking names out that are based on relative's names or the letter "C" even though that's what it appears like, the names just happen to be ones I like so far.

Boy:
- Dustin Ryan Eastling (Dustin is my middle name)
- Damian James Eastling (none of these have to do with any relatives , but my fiance isn't a big fan of this one even though I really like it)

These are just my top 2 or 3 so far, my fiance has some others she likes but she isn't sold on the boy names I like yet.

I don't know how people can think of names so early. For our first we figured it out in the hospital while she was waiting for labor to start. The next one is due in a month and we haven't thought about it much.

Hmmm, I see. I guess it's just different for everyone. There isn't anything even close to being set in stone right now as far as names go. I'm just sitting here bored off my ass watching my Marlins lose, so I thought I'd post something on here for a little entertainment.

To be honest, I don't like a single one of them.

Claire - this one is OK
Caroline - Oh god, not Carol.
Colleen - she already sounds 35
Dustin - D:
Damian - Sounds like a rastafarian basketball player

is that a suggestion for a name or did the cat attack the keyboard again?

I looked it up, it's an african name with a click in it. I'm not sure if this one will work out too well, clicking before I yell the kids name might be kind of embarrassing for him...

I appreciate the input. We really have no idea what we want to name the baby yet, still brainstorming of course!

I don't really care about boys names, but I've been starting a list of names I think would sound nice on a baby girl:

Arizona
Evelyn

I like Evelyn and Kayla. Kayla is pretty close to my fiance's name (Kayli).

Just use a Unisex name

lol thanks for the list. I'm trying to stay away from the common, or "popular" (for now) names. I'm not looking for a crazy original name like Honey Doo Moon (I actually knew someone with this name) either.

Seven Eleven Eastling does have a nice ring to it. But, is this a proper name for a girl or a boy? Will I get free slurpies and big gulps? These are the questions that truly matter...

Just call her Twenty Four Seven Eastling and get it over with. Sheesh!

ps. I still like Kenisha and Keshawn

Isabelle for a first name is really nice

Ah the boy names, well, Dustin and Damien I don't like at all. James and Ryan are cool names.

But now Dustin James Eastling has a nice ring to it , nickname DJ
