I think it wise (and mature) to delay informing your parents so as not to ruin their vacation. Upon their return and hearing of the (unfortunate) news they will surely need to draw strength from the R&R that vacation provides.
You lucked out. Depending on what type you have it's very very survivable. Hope it is stage 1! That would be good news for you instead of being any other stage. Hope the surgery and recovery goes smoothly.
Hey Nick1985, you wouldn't happen to be having a diet high in red meat and or a low fibre diet would you? Exercise isn't the end all be all to being healthy.. I'm just really surprised that at 24 you already have cancer, just seems so odd.
