lol @ "people wanting her to take them down" from her facebook account. so sad how everyone is offended by everything and thinks when they are offended, everything must change to revolve around them.

and no i'm not cool with what she is doing.

From some people and not others. Just depends on her target audience for the posted pictures originally. If she was posting them in an attempt to rile up people then she's being a troll. If not, then the people stalking her profile are the ones being the trolls in an attempt to smear her and what she does.

Many people I know people many such hunting trip photos where I live. I'm pretty sure if some of the anti gun/hunting idiots saw the facebook pics of myself or many I know around here they would be "up in arms" and I use that cliche as a pun, over the pictures. But I don't go out of my way to present those pictures for those people to view that would have a negative reaction to them.

Yea, but the "target audience" on FB is not going to be for the "hunting enthusiast" for the most part it's gonna be people that will scream outrage without knowing the facts of the situation of these kills, just the image of her straddling a dead big beast with that "look what I shot!" smile on her face says troll to me, IDK, maybe I'm wrong but the outcome of her posting the pics was kinda predictable.

Just another "Look at me, look at me! I'm something special!" media attention freak who wants her own reality TV show. And since they now have a curved HDTV, it might slim her fat face down and trim a few inches of width off between her protruding crazy eyes that say "I am going to stalk and kill you in your sleep if you don't marry me. But I really LOVE you!"

And she is just rubbing most of our noses in the fact she can afford to go screwing around in Africa and we can't. Well, at least a lot of us wouldn't want to go to Africa in the first place. In fact, going to Africa would probably be at the bottom of my list of things to do, right after visiting Detroit for an urban safari. Which is an even better place to practice survival skills now than Africa is.

I used to get angry whenever OBLAMA posted, for obvious reasons.

Now I can't help but laugh.

These pictures are distasteful and show disrespect to the animals. At a time when poachers are decimating rhino and elephant herds for the ivory, this spoiled little girl with her own support team is killing apex animals, or at least creating the appearance of doing so. There is no way she can do any of this on her own without daddy paying the way and a team of armed men protecting her.

That lion looks young and healthy, I would hope that lion was tranquilized but the bow suggests a kill. There is blood on the leopard that she is carrying around like a child with a new toy. The size of the tusks on the elephant suggest it is or was a young adult.

And her taking down one of each type of animal suggests an entitled bucket list of kills and disrespect when animal populations are decreasing due to human encroachment.

At least the native American Indians showed respect for the spirits of their kills. While hunters traditionally do so for food, she does it for spoiled sport.

I'm not sure if you're trolling, just being a general asshole, are making yourself look like an idiot. As I posted before, I know a lot of kids who have gone on trips like these to Africa, New Zealand, and elsewhere to take part in big game hunts. Many of those kids are far from wealthy. And, the places they travel to are, *gasp* , fairly nice to visit.

I have no problem with hunting in general but hunting elephants and lions? Who the fuck eats elephant or lion? I rank this up there with hunting whales as far as despicable acts go.

Uhh, except that isn't why she does it. Can you even read? She does it for conservation and food for villagers.

Now, how do you know she doesn't show respect for their spirits? Would that make it OK or would you just chose to insult her for believing in spirits instead? Are you sure you aren't stereotyping all Native American Indians? Not a single one of them ever smiled or expressed pride over a kill? Wow. I'm surprised and impressed that you did so much research and critical thinking before taking a stance on the issue.

I don't care. I still think this is despicable.

Despicable that Africans kill and utilize native animals (including elephants and lions) as food and sustenance? Or the fact that average McAmericans are totally ignorant to the Mcpractice?

At least Africans are eating real whole food.

They're eating all the real whole food including the baby food until no more food exists.

I stated her actions were distasteful and disrespectful, then supported with reasons why. You decided to go for a personal attack. You should really control your moods better.

I can both read what is communicated and understand what isn't said. The following shows that she is filling a bucket list. The statement the animals provide food for the hungry villagers is merely rationalization for her desires to feel the rush of killing apex creatures, with daddy's support and protection. You do not think deeply, do you?
... part of her quest to bag the Big 5 African game animals (rhino, elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard and lion) ...

And the Native American Indians showed respect for the earth and the creatures on it. Of course not every single individual, you idiot. That respect for other people and living beings is something you and many more people could benefit to learn.

Yes, because if it we're not for a white cheerleader from the USA the natives would starve! She should be canonized pronto!

Without people like her, the animals have no value besides food. For anyone attempting to do farming, elephants are a huge nuisance. Anyone trying to raise livestock, lions and other predators are a huge nuisance. Without these hunters, the only thing that makes sense to the locals is to simply kill these animals, for food, or for convenience.

that isn't true, those animals and safaris are the number one source for tourist revenues in many African countries. most people prefer to shoot these animals with their cameras and not guns.

BTW, do you guys eat canned tuna (albacore) or fresh tuna (Bluefin)? Because both are extremely endangered species, including several others at risk. I actually stopped eating all tuna. How about you?

More than half of tuna species at risk of extinction, say conservationists
http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2011/jul/07/tuna-species-risk-extinction

Or better yet, do you use your own land to garden as to better conserve our planet's resources? I do.

Ahhh, I get it...

Then what we need to do is pay her and many like her to kill many more of them pesky elephants and lions as that way THEY (natives) wont need to kill them and the endangered wildlife will be preserved.

This is sort of like destroying the village in order to save it.

This logic can work elsewhere as well, hmm, how about we let our politicians in Washington just spend money like it's going out of style so that there's nothing left for them to spend -- this way we stop them from spending!

What this twit did is disgusting and anyone that supports her is also a twit!

As long as she's compiling with the law I don't have a problem with it, but she should be intelligent enough to realize that if you post pics of yourself sitting on top of an animal you just shot the public reaction will be extremely negative, most people do not understand the concept of "culling" and just react in a knee-jerk fashion, it would have been wise or her to keep her photos off-line for this very reason..

She hunts for fun. Pretty sure she's running an interpretive language like BASIC or FORTRAN not a compiler like C, Turbo Pascal or whatever.
