What's the ups and downs for these different memory cards?

how are the khypermedia spindle dvdrs? does + or - typically work better? (i'm new to dvdr)

I haven't had a problem with the Khypermedia R+ and have been using them for a couple months over 75+ burned no problems.

I have some serious reservationas about khypermedia +r. I tried to burn a 4.5 gb movie to a khypermedia disk and had trouble viewing the movie because of pixelation. Same movie burned to a pioneer disk plays just fine. If I try to burn files above approx. 4.2gb then some files have a cycling redundancy error. It's my opinion that these disk don't necessarily hold the full space capacity that is advertised.

I've used about 20 or so KHypermedia DVD+R discs, and they work fine in my Lite-on burner. However, they don't seem to work in some of the stand-alone DVD players that I've tried, even with DVD-ROM bitsetting. That's fine, as I mainly use them for data backups only.

The first 10-pack I got would only burn at 2.4x, but the last pack burns fine at 4x.

Yah, at these prices I'm starting to switch from CDs to DVDs for data backup.

be careful on khypermedia stuff. it's always rebranded stuff. if you get them, you might have to burn lower than advertised speed if yo uhave burn problems
