Yeah I'd skip a refurb mobo. Mobos are the one thing you don't want to skimp on when building a system that is going to see even moderate use.

it depends...in fact, I get a new 8KTA3 from newegg.com last week, and meet some problems....so you know the importance of mainboard.

if you think you are lucky enough, the ref. mobo might fit you.

I got the KT7A-Raid refurb from newegg....been running pretty darn good so far. Didn't have one hitch during the installation

refurb just means not new. usually it just means someone returned one, defective or not

Hey...I bought one of those refurbished KT7A-RAID mobos from them, and it works perfectly...in fact, I should update my sig to reflect the new state of my rig/stably overclocked processor setup...the price was right, and if the thing breaks within 30 days, I'll send it back...and &quot;refurbished&quot;, to my understanding, usually means &quot;an object/device, once defective or non-working, restored to its original specifications and full working order by its manufacturer&quot;, right?

check the clearance section at J&amp;N for good prices on overstock and returned but cetified good stuff...

I just picked up the EPoX 8KTA3 refrub board from them...matter of fact I got it today...can't wait to throw the 1.2 Tbird I got from them in it..just waitin on the HS/F to arrive...
