Most stores open at 10am...get there to have lots of fun with Pricematching. If they give you a hard time, buy it, and go back next Sunday to get the difference refunded once the deal is off. Don't forget about the ATA/100 card deal too!

I just got a staples rep to add a free zip to my order. it somehow took off another 3 dollars from my order !!! it used to be 102 dollars, now its 99!! woohoo!!
now I just have to order the maxtor ata 100 card to get the rebate. anyone know where I can get it cheap? its just a rebadged promise, which sells for only 23 at comp geeks! I ordered too late to get that 20 off 50 dollar coupon floating around, now i think i might go through onvia.

I bought the drive last week from Staples.com for $180 - $40 coupon. Then went back and pricematched with OD. Bought the card for $50 - $20 coupon. I just called up and got them to add the zip drive. BTW, the first CSR wouldn't do it, but I called back and had no problem. So:

$120 PM on the drive
- 40 coupon
+ 50 ATA100 card
- 20 coupon
- 50 rebate
+ 0 Zip drive
-----
$ 60 + about $18 in tax on all three.

$78 all told. I'm soooo happy ... excuse me, I need to change my shorts.

No codes in my post VenGog, that's ss284. BTW, the $25 one is his post is a coupon code, but the $90.04 one is listed in the weekly ad for the zip drive offer. It's more of an instant rebate than a coupon.

Any mods around that can tell us if that makes it legal to post?

How do you get the Zip code to work online? It won't accept that code (which is listed in their flyer in the paper, if anyone is worried about &quot;posting coupon codes&quot; -- hard to find one more public than that).

I called and talked to a CSR. She asked for the code from the flyer. The first CSR told me that it would only be applicable at the time of purchase and at a B&amp;M only, but I called back and got a friendlier rep.

Just got back from Staples. Thanks for the post of $119 at OD last night...I thankfully printed it out...should of saved it though, and walked out for $119.95 and the zip plus tax...GREAT DEAL!!! Staples only let me do it for one set, said they were limiting due to low stock quantities. Oh well, but one deal is good enough for me! Grand total 2 day computer shopping at Staples: $1200, actual retail prices, $1975...I think I did well! (includes the Emachine deals I got yesterday!). Thanks Anandtechers!
