Im watching the Dubai vid right now. Any idea when these came out? I've seen the original top gears with clarkston from 89-90 but these vids seem newer.

Based on the "MotorWorld -- Detroit" clip: He's driving an SN95 body-style Mustang, so it would probably be somewhere between 1994 and 1998.

Ive watched all the vid's now except the last three. I have to say, I never want to drive in india in my life.

wow full eps. yea i had these as avi's a while back decent stuff...clarksons in lots of stuff other than top gear like inventions that changed the world/qi and some other crud. but thats how it is with bbc presenters i guess. hamond has lots of other stuff too.. like the "should i worry about" series and braniac

I like the japanese one. Damn even their friggen 1990 cars had navigation systems and built in DVD players.
And their parking lots are crazy as hell!

I like this little interview segment between Clarkson and Dennis W. Archer, the mayor of Detroit at the time:

It's fun, for a while. But if it's your daily commute, you WILL get annoyed.

OTOH, the situation has changed in the last ten years. Back then, you could have bribed cops, but not so much anymore.

Back then, we had very few cars, but now, you see people driving Audis, Mercs, Bimmers, Porsches, etc. Not every, but once in a while you do (this is Mumbai I'm talking about here). But there are definitely more cars on the market as well: Mitsu Lancer, Skoda Octavia (I think), Daewoo Matiz, Honda Accord (US Spec, but the 1.5 and 1.5 VTEC only).

looks like either 94 or 95 based on when the cars he shows.

he seems to like the LHS, said it was a great car and would sell well in england.

also seemed to like the chrysler t&c.
