I had the same exact problem with a website that was very important for me, as I already purchased a training online package from this website....the website could let me log in successfully , but no more working links and most of the contents was not appearing.

I checked to browse this website from my mobile and it was working fine..and my mobile and my laptop was getting the internet service from the same router..

and in my laptop , if I use proxy server application, the website will work fine !!

finally I figured out it's not a website problem and it's totally my laptop system problem...I was about to reinstall windows ( the solution , which I don't like )

but I tried to uninstall all new applications installed in the last month , since the website was working fine..

and these software , were like photo recovery, codecs package, some suspecious software that I remember that I did not install !!

after this , the website worked fine like before...

I hope this tip is informative..

thanks

Bumping this thread as I am experiencing the same issues. For example, reddit.com will never load, but seems to sit, stuck on an endlessly spinning loading icon while trying to reach redditstatic.com (their CDN?).
Perhaps related, youtube videos also will only load the initial burst, then they freeze and will no longer buffer.
Google searches also periodically fail, seemingly when its doing the "live update results" where as you type its streaming the search results below.
If I load these websites using a proxy site (e.g. proxfree.com), they load and stream fine. Speedtests result in perfectly normal results. I can play online games no problem.
Other devices on my home network do not experience this issue (they are all wireless; the affected PC is hardwired to my router). Using an all-in-one router/cable modem via comcast.
Tried TCP/IP reset, no results. Tried public DNS's, no results.
Disabling javascript allows pages to load... but obviously they are horribly broken, then. My theory is that perhaps it has something to do with websites that use CDN's, but I don't really know enough about the internet to know what that means or other websites that use CDNs to verify this idea. Or I could be way off base.

mmx2000,
Did you ever solve your CDN issues? I am having exactly the same issues and haven't figured out a solution yet.

Thanks,

Rick

Nope after a lot of review I believe it's actually a hardware issue with my network adapter. I tried buying a PCI nic card to use instead but couldn't get my PC to boot up. Unfortunately my ethernet is on board my motherboard.
I still am having this issue today. If you find anything please let me know...

Bummer,
I was happy(?) to find someone experiencing the exact same issues as me! I will keep looking. VERY odd that I can use these same websites via a free proxy site but not directly, yet can ping and traceroute to them without issue.

Larry, Are you wearing a Leisure Suit?

Just for the hell of it, try lspfix.

Hijackthis used with this site will clue you in to any problems. Also check out Farbar Service Scanner.
