Oh, because thinking Novak is a treasonous piece of shit for outing a CIA agent is close to anything that this idiot republican THINKS Obama has done/is going to do is equivalent? Please tell me more about your crazy worldview, i'm all ears!

To bad he apologised. I guess we forgot the Dems booing bush during his speaches. I was cheering that some one had the balls to stand up to that turn coat POS Obama. He is lying the 3rd world trash will get coverage and he knows it. I hope Obama catches a damn bullet.

I would say you're despicable, but it's just standard republicans.txt right here (although they usually keep such rhetoric to themselves)
I totally agree with you that this kind of speech is despicable. I was going to link you to the Novak obituary thread to show you some standard democrats.txt...but for some mysterious reason I cannot find it. Curious how those things work.

That's cute how you compare these two situations when Novak basically commited treason and deserved pretty much every awful thing to happen to him.

Rep. Wilson may have been disrespectful, but he has opened up discussion on one of major sticking points of the debate. The illegal immigrant problem and the abuse of our nation's health care system by illegals has been ignored by the Obama administration. They are so concerned about Hispanic voter backlash that they prefer to downplay any proposals. The majority of American taxpayers have seen enough generosity handed out to illegals at their expense.

It doesn't matter if illegal aliens are part of the package. They will use the system anyway. Some will pay, some won't pay, but they'll still be going to doctors, clinics, and hospitals.

It doesn't matter if we have laws against insurance fraud, some people will still attempt it. Why bother with laws anyway?

Ah, I see, the law preventing free health care to illegal aliens is directed to the illegal aliens themselves, and not to the persons who would be giving the care. My mistake.

How do we enforce these laws? Put mothers of newborn children in jail?

I am not defending them. The laws are unenforcable.

Why are you equating "inperfectly enforceable" with "completely unenforceable?"

Further, do you know about half of illegals currently in the US have health insurance?

Looks like i'm going to have to post Arkaign's quotes again, because it seems to apply to you. The fact that you're comparing the situations to both novak (a treasonous bastard) to death threats against Obama (who really hasn't done much to deserve that kind of ire) shows what a loony idiot you are:

I'm a conservative, but find this kind of behavior absolutely reprehensible. I recently went to a backyard cookout with a few neighbors (this is an almost 100% 'Republican' area), and was shocked at: A) How ----ing idiotic most of them were and B) How often I heard people talking about assassinating the POTUS and other 'liberals/commies'

As a conservative, I also have to say that :

Republicans are generally not interested in truth if it interferes with their bottom line. They'll use any means necessary, lies, cheating, and stealing to push their agenda. That's the nature of the people we are dealing with at the top of the Republican party.

Hello, this wasn't a debate, it's a speech! Our traitor in chief hasn't paid any attention to those that are not on his side since he took office. People have been speaking out in droves since Bush signed the bail-out continuing through Obama's trash of a stimulus bill and ill-responsible budget. I don't know how many times a person can speak up, only to be ignored and not start to shout. And the man is a lier:

No lobbyist?
No pork?
Bi-partisan?

I wish more our the elected representatives had the guts to call him what he is, a lying racist!

They caregivers are the ones taking the risks. If it is illegal to provide care, the hospitals would have to fight it out with the government.

My point isn't about Obama or Novak...are you being intentionally obtuse? It's about the insanity of extreme partisanship.

Actually, it's extremely relevant who we're talking about. Because Novak COMMITTED TREASON.

Is hoping Osama Bin laden being executed out of bounds now?

More faux outrage from the left, from the Queen Bee all the way down to the minions here. Was it appropriate? No. Are we splitting hairs to justify one party's slimy actions to pave the way for justifying the other's? Absolutely. Oh, and LMFAO at evident's disingenuous posturing as an Independent.

Well it goes back a bit, reps booed clinton too.

http://mediamatters.org/research/200502040014

Either way, I remember Bush being booed and probably wasn't particularly bothered by it, and as said earlier in this thread, this incident isn't a "big deal", but calling the president a liar is different than expressing disapproval by booing or not clapping. It's not splitting hairs at all, which is why Joe was called on it by members of his own party and apologized, while people on both sides who in the past booed did not do so.

Of course, historically you and I don't agree on much, so it could also just be that.

Oh no doubt. Last night's little outburst was merely a classic case study on how juvenile these scumbags are... right and left. Equally as juvenile, however, are members of each party who single out slights against "their man" and cry foul, and in order to do so, justify the fouls committed by their own. Trust me, I'm pointing the finger at everyone and no one.

I never said you were a commie pinko liberal... I said you were a fraud/liar. RPS already did a fine job of highlighting why your posturing is bullshit, so there's no need for me to elaborate.

RPS did nothing but make himself look like a douche as usual. i asked a simple honest question then got back a typical partisan response. and i believe the faux outrage was coming from the rep who shouted out liar. i wasn't trying to justify the dems booing bush, but applauds and boos always happened during speeches with any president at a stopping point as far as i remember. can you really compare the video he posted w/ some small grumblings in the back w/ what happened yesterday? still its not classy but was a little bit different.
