It's hard to judge based on a pic, but I could see that being 10g. If you're not a regular consumer, that could last you a good while.

Some fluffy weed can fill a sandwich bag to the brim and barely weigh 7 grams.

On the other extreme I've gotten single buds the size of a large marble that were a half-ounce or 14 grams.
(obviously with legal bud seriously "compressed" weed is mostly a thing of the past!)

That's why "eyeballing" the bag was ALWAYS a bad idea back in the day! (and nothing has changed!)

I bought a Crafty+ vape to go with it.
Loaded that up in the morning after work and before bed and I think that the strain they gave me is just right.
It's fairly low THC and high CBD and goes down nicely without making me to dopey
Hopefully it's going to work out! Haven't tried the THC oil yet!

There were actually times I used a postal scale to measure envelopes, believe it or not!

I think that's what threw me. When I was a kid I was just hash. Presumably because it's easier to smuggle.

Cramming 20 lbs of it into an engine-block (or similar!) can turn buds the approximate density of wood-chips. (no joke)

It can also crush any seeds inside said bud making it taste nasty.

There was a bottle of CBD oil and a bottle of THC oil as well.
I've only tried the CBD oil as I don't want to try anything too heavy for the first go when I'm working nights!

CBD oil is good for banged up knees and ankles, slap it right on there. THC oil can make a dinner party a lot of fun, my advice is don't mix with alcohol though. Some people tend to get dizzy and spew.

How are people removing the stems and seeds nowadays? Do you toss some of the flower in one of those manual twist type spice grinders and then pick out the stems and seeds?

I've recently started using gummies. The last bags I bought were 10mg delta 8 and a 5mg bag of delta 9 and they were very mild if you only take one. If I take one of each then I feel something but the effect can definitely vary. I was so ripped Sat. night that I couldn't even finish a single beer. Luckily I was able to hang in there while watching Avatar: The Way of the Water.

I have stronger gummies coming this weekend. I'll have to try 1/4 dose and see how it goes. Any idea of the effects of 1/2 of a 5:1 (75mg of CBD and 15 mg of Delta-9 THC) gummies? Will it be a comfortably numb feeling? I've had a 10mg delta 9 gummy before and it was an acceptable.

Avoiding shitty flower with seeds is the first step usually. I know people in Maine who produce, lots of hand work and manicuring involved. Saw a pic of something that looked like a cross between a salad spinner and a weed wacker that takes off fan leaves down to the buds, uses a wire I think. Saves them a lot of time apparently, they have a whole fleet of them now.

I think I've encountered one seed in the time I've been buying legal weed. I do use a grinder and pluck the occasional stem out of there.

I grow myself .... and I haven't seen weed with more then the occasional oddball (usually immature) seed for many years.

That certainly didn't used to be the case though!

The crafty+ vape I got came with funky little dosing capsules that you pre fill and just pop in the top of the vape. And a grinder. And some things that I'm not sure what they are for!

I'm considering getting a big setup for this winter, to keep a constant supply of greens, tomatoes and cukes going. Trying to phase into a 90% veg diet. Not interested in growing cannabis, or it's odor issues. I'm curious though, what do you use for lights? Soil or hydro? Trying to decide if I'm going to go nuts on it and involve feesh, or just dirt.

Nice, it seems hard to find more CBD focused weed here, it's all about crazy high THC which is a bit annoying, sometimes I'd rather have the relaxing effect.

Probably cleaning tools possibly? My vape had this multitool thing that was basically just a small rubber bar but it was good for helping load it and clean it out. With the dry herb vapes you wanna make sure to clean out the dust pretty well otherwise you'll get a more burnt flavor, mine came with a little wire brush for that. I'd highly recommend not being lazy with the cleaning too, usually it's much easier right after you use it before any residue hardens, gets a lot harder to clean if you put it off for a while.

Yeah. I specifically told the prescribing doctor that I didn't want anything too strong!

The good thing about the metal dosing capsules is that the inside of the vape doesn't get any left over herb inside it! Obviously there's going to be a build up of residue from the vapour but I don't think I'll be using it too often.

I've never used a vape. How is the odor compared to to smoking it the old school ways?
