when I walk our dogs, I watch everyone walking their dogs as well to see if they're picking the poo up.
When we first moved here, no one was picking up their dog's poo. The common grass area was like a mine field, and I can't count the number of times I stepped in dog poo. Finanally I called the HOA and complained, and they ended up putting up signs that said to pick up after their dog or pay a fine.
When I lived in a HOA that complained and pseudo enforced it, I just took my dog out earlier or later and left crap there on purpose. At least I walked my dog and let it shit where it was supposed to, instead of on the sidewalks in front of the houses like everybody else.
Why would you do that? You understand why people are frustrated; no one wants to step in a pile of dog sh!t. At night, you can't even see whats on the grass.
Not to mention that it's a health hazard for other dogs.
No one is trying to make anyones life more difficult; we just want the community to be clean.
You just seem to be a jerk in general. From reading your responses in other posts (the threads about speeding), you seem to take pleasure in being an overall nuisance to society....such a sad way to live
To be honest, where I lived, as I said, NO ONE else took their dogs to the designated "dog walking area" (which was actually not a very hospitable place to walk a dog anyway). Nearly EVERYONE simply walked their dog around the main community block, and let their dog either shit in someone else's yard or right on the sidewalk, NOT cleaning up after their dog.
The funny thing was, if I took my dog out and did what everyone else did, I of course would end up with a warning/fine notice, but no one else did. Same went for my car - god forbid I park in any of the empty parking spots across from my house instead of 1/4 mile away near the community gate. All this because I rented, not owned.
As for your community, if everyone is on the same page, that's fine. If you don't have to deal with holier-than-thou idiots who bitch every time you set foot in the community for no real reason (and aren't even on the board), then good for you. If everyone is like-minded and appropriate rules are followed, then the HOA works. Remember that next time you get singled out for attempting to follow the rules while everybody else flaunts them right in your face. Thank god I don't have to deal with that "shit" anymore.
