I know car magazines do that to improve wind resistance, but they usually cover up the entire headlight. I dont know what covering just the top would do.

its a cheap way to get the "bad boy" bonnet/hood

if he had more money he could of had the hood remade and extended to cover the top portion of his lights, it gives the impression the car is scowling or frowning at you....supposedly to make it look more "aggro" give the car abit of emotion

Not exactly sure. But I remember in C&D (or some other car magazine, it was like 10 years ago), they taped over the headlights and wipers of a bunch of cars and were able to increase the top speed about 2-3 mph.

Not sure where the whole brow thing came from but the tape I see is on the headlite...
