Something strange has been happening to me since 2006 that I can't explain.

This might sound unusual or "crazy", but I assure you that I am not mentally ill.

I am been experiencing something bizarre to put it lightly that I can not explain and it seems as though someone or something is torturing me with some sort of technology of sorts. That's my hypothesis.

I currently live alone in the New York City area and what I am experiencing is strange. I am feeling a probe and twitch around my body, hands, feet, ear it almost seems like someone has a laser and is torturing me with it. I have spent many nights without sleeping studying it and wondering what it could be. I have been to the police for this and they can not help me they just tell me to speak to the landlord.
I have also been to the Emergency room many time, over 20 times, with headaches, neck soreness and a strange heat sensation in my neck area and other ailments.
I have been to the doctor's for a check up and I am healthy, but I have come to the conclusion that some how I am getting tortured.

Again, I am not crazy. Have any of you guys heard of something like this happening to someone. Please help me.

It sounds like you need a therapist and a psychiatrist, IMO.
But this could also maybe be the result of a tumor or something, what kind of check up did you have? Maybe a second opinion or a specialist is in order.

Sudden onset paranoia can be an indicator of many serious medical conditions. I asked if you were hacked because I've seen this exact shtick several times before, I think even on these very forums if I'm not mistaken.

Thank GOD I am healthy, just slightly elevated cholesterol, my blood pressure is slightly high at times, and I am over weight, but besides that I am healthy.

Given that a neurological cause has been written off and other medical issues have been addressed it very well could be a mental illness thing.

THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU ARE CRAZY!

Mental illness has a terrible stigma that stops people thinking logically about it.
Its not necessarily anything permanent and it isn't anything wrong with you anymore than any other illness.

You've obviously been comfortable (or been able to) looking into all the other things it could be, don't ignore this one.
Your brain and mind are incredibly complicated things and its easy for something psychological or physiological to cause a problem. Its no biggie to go get this checked out as well, but in the same way that ignoring a mole that turns into cancer is a biggie ignoring a psychological problem at the beginning can turn a small easily fixed problem into something life destroying.

Go get yourself checked out, you've done a lot so far you owe it to yourself to go that bit further.

I believe that you feel something. I don't believe you're actually being "probed". Here's the thing, doctors are like everyone else, they aren't all great at their jobs, and they can make mistakes. Have you been referred to a therapist and/or psychiatrist?

No one isn't taking you seriously , they are advising you to get second opinions, your well into conformation Bias territory . I have live for many years with a family member who has psychotic issues , you sound exactly like them.

Here is the thing , these things are actually very treatable , they can be complex but treatable. second opinions are a must

1) Crazy people don't know/self-realize that they are insane
2) experiencing psychological problems does not make you crazy
3) as stated by others, you saw other docs, but all you want to do now is yell about not being crazy...you are quite insistent about it as well...phobia?
4) lasers do not touch surfaces or objects as if they were a solid material...nobody can "probe" you with lasers from a distance
5) it sounds like some of my neuropathy tbh (light shocks, pins & needles, tissue twitches, etc)

This sounds like a classic case of Alien observation. They only pick very special people so you shoudl feel proud to be one of the chosen few. Nothing you can do but keep you chin up and go with the flow.

You haven't a clue what it could be, so why the insistence of it being "technology" that afaik doesn't exist? You think that's more likely than a possible psychological or neurological issue?

Mental illness isn't a black and white, I'm crazy or not thing.


How would you feel about if it was a trapped nerve that lead to those feelings and the lack of sleep has made you think about the cause in a non logical way?
