This is embarrassing and I have been experiencing this for years and I have decided to post here because I do not know what else to do. I do not believe in ghost.
You didn't mention if you experience this if you sleep somewhere else. Do you? If you haven't slept anywhere else, I would consider looking into a sleep study where you can be monitored during your sleep for anything going on.
My mom is currently going through similar issues, in that she is experiencing parts of a reality that simply don't exist for anyone else. She refused to talk to medical professionals about her experience and thus remains untreated. This creates stress for her because she can't talk to anyone about what she experiences because no one understands what she experiences. This frustrates her and makes her feel lonely. I can't convince her to talk to anyone because she doesn't believe she has an issue.
I will tell you this. Let's all agree, you don't have an issue with your mind or your perception. But let's also agree that there is no harm in talking to a professional about your experience. So how about you go and talk to a Psychiatrist? Just to rule everything out.
My experience tells me you will refuse. I found that anything that challenges my mother's reality causes her to push back very hard. So regardless of how logical it would be to work through the various medical options, anything coming close to Psychiatrist (she already has a neurological doctor for passing out in the past)
Going through this experience, has me writing a note that I gave to my family that if they read to me I will agree to do whatever they say, should I develop a problem.
