My laptop just died, so I'm building a new Pc that I need very soon. I'm planning on getting the 6800GT (PCI-e) and a s939 3500+, so obviously I need an nForce4, and since I need it soon the price on monarch doesn't matter (they have it in stock right now, right?). Anyways I've heard that the PSU in the Sonata might not work because of a different amount of pins, is there a certain way you have to hook it up?

And just so I don't need to start another topic, what are 2 good DVD/CD drives I could get and use together for burning DVDs, for under or around $100? Thanks a lot.

nope, it works. standard ATX. for good burners, look for the lowest price you can find of reputable manufacturers. sony, nec, plextor, samsung, pioneer, lite-on, etc.

thanks LtPage. And for the burners, if I get a DVD burner what second drive do I need, just a drive that can read DVDs?

I'd recommend a plain DVD-ROM reader as drive #1, some game copy-protection can be incompatible with burners.

For #2, most people here are getting the NEC 3500a over the Pioneer. My Pioneer A06 is great, but reviews of the 108 have been less positive (CDFreaks I think had one showing only OK compatibility with blank media).

So if drive #1 only reads DVDs I could put a CD into it and be able to burn it onto a blank CD in drive #2? I'm used to having just one drive for burning CDs on my lapotp.

What I'd do is get a Combo drive for Drive #1 ( CDRW/DVD 52x32x52x16x ) And then I'd get the NEC 3500a for Drive #2 ...

Why? Because my 3500a is picky on CD Media and will only burn most media at 32x ( way too slow for me ).. And some retail dvd's only read at 5x on my 3500a.
