Phil Collins? Noooooooooooooooo! I can't stand Phil after he and Genesis seemed to release albums about 3 months apart when I was in high school.
I believe Quiet Riot covered Cum On Feel the Noize - original by Slade???
Totally agree on Blowin' in the Wind - great cover.
I also liked Tool's version of No Quarter. Someone else mentioned it in this thread and while I'll agree it's great my nod goes to the original and I'm a HUGE Tool fan.
Speaking of Tool - that new A Perfect Circle CD full of covers is terrible. It's a perfect justificaiton for downloading songs before buying the CD. Oh, and it's still better than anything by P Daddy!
EDIT: I forgot to mention Eric Cartman's cover of the original Styx song, "I'm sailing away". (kidding )
