Support for their products, from my experienced, is already non-existant. My SP150 sucks.

It's USB, but only 1.1, and I think it doesn't emulate a USB HD like the Archos player and recorder do. So, you need custom software to load songs onto the unit.

It's hot if you really like the unit, but otherwise pay a little more and get an Archos Recorder 20. USB 2.0 baby!

Actually, it looks like the Amazon one is cheaper (and new, not refurb). It is $161.49 at Amazon, and there's a $10 off coupon on "obese-wallet" for Amazon, with Free Shipping. Whereas that other site says $153. No brainer to me.

I picked one of these up at the Wiz liquidation sale for $140. While the unit is a bit bulky, and the radio reception could use some improvement, the unit is very well made, comes with a case / belt clip, halfway decent headphones, and the menu system is easy to use with the wheel. It takes a while to load some music, but any realplayer or current Windows media player can add to it. If you know where to look, there is an explorer add-on that lets you drap and drop too. I would highly recommend this unit if you put your toys thru some tough usage, as mine takes a licking and keeps on ticking.... just my $0.02.... :music:

yea i have had one of these for over a year now. I love it, it is great. It is USB 1.1, but listen people, you are not going to put on music every two seconds. i loaded a few gigs/night the first few days and then didn't tinker with it for A FEW MONTHS. So really, connection speed is not that big a deal. It's solid, i paid 300 for it and looked around at other stuff quite a bit, not an impulse purchase. No it doesn't work as a portable HD as well, but if you are buying a music player then what do you care? My only complaint is that i have to use realplayer to load files on here, although someone mentioned something about mediaplayer and a drag and drop thing, but i dont know about that, MS says they do not support it and my drivers under XP are beta, although i have never had a problem. My $0.04

look, sonicblue is the same is diamond Multimedia... their stuff is still sort of supported. SonicBlue is gonna be picked up by someone else. Their support will stay at the same low level. At this price, i'd say Jump!
